How STONKY works

STONKY launches coins on StonkFun. Every coin is paired with a tokenized stock, SOL or any other token StonkFun supports, and the creator fees from every trade are paid to the people holding the coin. A coin can pay its holders in SOL, or in up to fifteen stocks chosen at launch.

Launching

1

Pick the pair

The coin trades against this token on its own LaunchLab curve. Any pair StonkFun launches against can be used.

2

Pick what the holders are paid in

SOL by default, or one to fifteen of the tokens StonkFun supports. This list is fixed at launch.

3

Set the dev buy and sign one payment

Between 0.1 and 10 SOL. The pool is created and your coin is bought in the same transaction, straight into your wallet. On top of the dev buy you pay the rent for the accounts the launch creates and the network fees.

The coin is launched from the STONKY launch wallet with StonkFun's platform configuration, so StonkFun lists it like any other coin. If anything fails after you have paid, the payment is sent back in the same call.

Fees

Every trade on the curve pays a creator fee in the pair token. Each STONKY coin has its own creator account, derived from the coin's mint, so every fee can be traced to exactly one coin. Every couple of minutes the operator's desk sweeps the creator accounts into the treasury and swaps the fees to SOL. The platform keeps 10 percent of every fee; the rest belongs to the holders. Every sweep is listed on the coin page with its transaction.

Payouts to the holders

Each coin gets a payout round roughly every ten minutes, as long as at least 0.01 SOL has built up for its holders. The holders are read from the chain at that moment: every ordinary wallet holding the coin counts, pool vaults and the platform's own accounts do not. Each holder gets a share by how much of the coin they hold, up to the 80 largest holders per round. Shares below 0.0001 SOL are dropped and redistributed.

If the coin pays in SOL, the shares are sent as SOL. If the coin has a list of stocks, each round is paid in one of them: the first round buys the first stock on the list and sends it to the holders, the next round the second, and so on through the list and back to the start. A coin with fifteen stocks has paid in all fifteen after fifteen rounds. The stock is bought with the holders' share through Jupiter from the treasury, and each holder's part is sent to their token account. If a holder does not have a token account for that stock yet, one is created and the rent is taken from that holder's share, so nobody else pays for it.

Nobody claims anything and nobody signs anything. Being paid only requires holding the coin at the time of the round.
